SPG-1800

The SPG-1800 is the only mid -range GPR system designed exclusively for airborne applications. This ground breaking technology is available thanks to meticulously planned and achieved minituratization of the system architecture merged with light and compact Geoscanners antenna solutions.

The SPG-1800 is as its higher frequency counterpart capable of storing the collected data via a WiFi link, an Ethernet link or directly on an onboard SD card forautonomous flight mode. The quality of thedata, user friendly interface and integratedgeoreferencing input are easily indentifiedtrademarks of Geoscanners AB.

Primary use cases are void detection, landslides thickness measurement, layer mapping and object detection.

The SPG-1800 is an all in one airborne Ground Penetrating Radar system specifically designed for mid-range applications. This unit addresses the problem of mid-range surveys in extremely difficult terrain where the use of ground coupled antennas or systems is impractical or impossible.

The device comprises the transmitting and receiving transducers, as well as the control electronics and power supplies needed for a fully integrated system.

The SPG-1800 counts with high efficiency batteries to allow for longer operational times without the penalty of higher payload for the drones.

Like all other fully integrated airborne systems manufactured by Geoscanners AB, the new SPG-1800 has an internal data storage that permits surveys in autonomous mode without the need for the computer to be connected to the unit at all times. This eliminates the possibility of data loses.
